Academy Barons
The Academy Barons are entering into their 1st season with the California Collegiate League. The Academy Barons Collegiate Team is sponsored by Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy a not for profit 501 (c)(3) corporation founded by Major League Baseball . The Academy's Mission Statement: "Through the Splendor of the National Pastime, Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy aims to set the standard for instruction, teaching and education in Urban America and to enhance the quality of life in surrounding communities. It serves as a brick-and-mortar testament to MLB's commitment to urban youth" © . The Academy Barons are proud to be a part of the California Collegiate League, one of the premier collegiate leagues in the country.
